A New Dawn

It seems too good to be true! This is my first "shot" in Spain, taken from our bedroom window at our new house, when I woke up the morning after I arrived last Thursday. Only a 10 minute car ride away from Pamplona, we're living in the middle of a valley where the only thing you see is farm land. After being in polluted Kathmandu for the last 3 months, where even a short walk to the grocery store involved the risk of getting run down by murderous traffic, I feel like I'm in heaven....

Sheila! I have been watching all of your gorgeous photos and reading about your incredible experiences! I am so out of the loop now! You have moved to Spain??? For good? Will you go back to defend? I can't wait to see your final edit and project!... you've done some really stunning work these past 3 months... I'm sorry I haven't commented more- but I have seen every shot you've posted... BEAUTIFUL!!!

You made it to the pastoral promise land, and it's true about the killer kars in Kat-town. The view looks like a giant groomed pause, a place to lie on a thick Moroccan carpet, drink Turkish coffee, and tell tales until the stars begin to simmer in the sky.

I miss you always,

Suzy

I didn't have a clue about your project in Nepal, but have spent the last hour or so looking a these pictures and reading the stories.
